We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Chief Kerry Kleve, a devoted leader whose courage, integrity, and steadfast commitment to the community he served will remain an enduring inspiration. Chief Kleve dedicated his life to the safety and well-being of others, approaching every call, challenge, and responsibility with honor, compassion, and an unwavering sense of duty. His leadership shaped not only the department he guided, but also the countless individuals who had the privilege of working alongside him. He was a mentor, a role model, and a constant source of strength.
During this difficult time, we extend our deepest condolences to his beloved wife Kara, their daughter Kaislee, their son Kael, and all members of his family. We also hold in our hearts his friends, colleagues, and the entire fire service and medical community who stood beside him throughout his remarkable career. The impact Chief Kleve made on those around him is immeasurable, and his legacy of service, bravery, and compassion will continue to uplift the community he proudly protected.
